Data Protection Declaration

§ 1 Information on collecting personal data

(1) In the following we inform you of the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data covers all data which is attributable to you personally such as your name, address, email addresses and user behaviour.


(2) The responsible body in terms of Article 4 Paragraph 7 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

(3) When you contact us initially via email, we store the data you provide (your email address and possibly your name and phone number) in order to be able to answer your questions. We delete the data collected in this context after storage is no longer necessary, or limit its use should there be statutory retention requirements.

(4) Should we wish to make use of contracted providers for individual functions in our offering or use your data for advertising purposes we will inform below in detail about the respective processes. We also state the criteria by which the duration of storage is defined.


§ 2 Your rights

(1) You have the following rights with regard to your own personal data:

–          The right to information,

–          The right to correction or deletion,

–          The right to limitation of its use,

–          The right to object to its being processed,

–          The right to data transferability.

(2) You are also entitled to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.


§ 3 Collection of personal data from visitors to our website

(1) If you use our website just for information and do not register or otherwise send us information, we only collect the personal data which your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website we collect the following data which is technically necessary for us in order to show you our website and to guarantee its stability and security (the legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 lit. f GDPR):

–          IP address

–          Date and time of the enquiry

–          Time zone difference in relation to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

–          Content of the request (actual page)

–          Access status/HTTP status code

–          Respective data quantity transmitted

–          Website from which the request is received

–          Browser

–          Operating system and its GUI

–          Browser software language and version.


(2) In addition to the previously mentioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files which are attributed to the browser you use and are stored on your hard disk and through which certain information is fed to the page which sets the cookie (in this case us). Cookies cannot run programmes on or transfer viruses to your computer. Their purpose is to make the Internet more user friendly and efficient overall.

(3) Use of cookies:

a)       This website uses the following cookies, the scope and function of which are described below:

–          Transient cookies (see b)

–          Persistent cookies (see c).

b)         Transient cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. These specifically include session cookies. They store a session ID which can be attributed to various enquiries from your browser within the common session. This means your computer can be recognised again if you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log off or close the browser.

c)         Persistent cookies are deleted automatically following a prescribed period of time which can    be different depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

d)         You can configure your browser settings as you wish and for example refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. We wish to point out that you may not be able to use all functions on our website in this case.
